The route of our carriage tours was, in part, restricted by one-way street patterns, and time constraints brought about by dealing with city traffic.  The tour lasted about 25 minutes, and covered about a mile and over 200 years of history.

It passed three sites where our congregation has worshiped and visited a burial ground that could be called the First Methodist Cemetery.  It told of our church’s role in expanding Methodism all over Lancaster, and tales of the French and Indian, and Revolutionary Wars.

The version that appears here is slightly adjusted to provide a sequence that is more chronological.
